Greener camping is our thing

We want to keep things simple so that you can soak up your amazing surroundings and location and make the most of everyday of your getaway.

The Point House Paddock has just eight perfect Point House pitches, which can be the base for your tented accommodation or campervan. We are a certified site and part of the Greener Camping Club.

The Greener Camping Club is the UK's leading environment-friendly camping organisation. At present, the Club has 145 campsites which are carefully vetted, with certified sites sharing a common theme of quality, and environment-friendly camping, all in truly beautiful settings. Their aim is to provide members with amazing and exclusive camping experiences.

Therefore when you book you will be asked to join as a member. This way we can keep the campsite and your experience unique to like minded individuals. Membership costs just £12 (the membership year runs from 1st January to 31st December - membership automatically extends to the 31st December of the following year if you join on or after 1st September of the preceding year).

As a member you will benefit from the following:

  • A large choice of exceptional member-exclusive camping and glamping sites, in outstanding settings across west Wales, other parts of Wales and parts of England. With access to Campsites where queues for the loo are a thing of the past. The Greener Camping club have a strict quota system of loos/showers to pitches for all its chosen campsites, so you’ll never be caught short again.

  • A ’Trees for Life’ scheme, whereby a tree is planted for every member enrolment. To date they have planted over 47,000 trees - almost 15,000 trees were planted by their member campsites in 2022 and they expect to plant at least as many again in 2023. In this small way, their hope is that the trees go some way to off-setting some of the inevitable environmental impact of even the greenest of holidays. The trees are funded from your membership fee.

  • A paper-free, digital membership enrolment process. Your campsite of choice will join you up at the point of booking - or you can join as a ‘direct member’ through their website. They don’t bombard you with magazines, special offers, or other marketing materials, but might keep you posted about campsites that may be of interest to you.
