camping at The Old Point House

OUR BEAUTIFUL CAMPGROUND

Our simple off-grid campground, affectionately nicknamed The Point House Paddock, provides the perfect place to spend a night in nature.

Near the end of the point, and sloping down toward East Angle Bay, our paddock has eight pitches, each with a fantastic view of the water and only seconds from the pebble beach, perfect for a morning dip!

On days where you feel like exploring, the Pembrokeshire coast path runs along the bottom of The Paddock, with East Angle Bay in direct view, and West Angle Bay only a short walk away.

Of course, if you wish to go further afield, Pembrokeshire offers breath-taking scenery and seascapes, wonderful walks, countless historical sites, and beaches around every corner.

With coastal walks, great food, swimming and fishing all within seconds of your off-grid pitch, you will only wish you had more time in this beautiful part of Wales.

Your adventure begins when you travel the tidal causeway to reach The Point House Paddock.

Our facilities

We offer camping pitches for tents or camper vans in our paddock. More details about our pitches and other facilities can be found on our facilities page.

GREENER CAMPING IS OUR THING

We’re members of The Greener Camping Club, the UK's leading environment-friendly camping organisation. You’ll need a membership (just £12) to stay with us, which will be added when you book but can be refunded if you are already a member. More details on our TGCC page.

It’s great places like this actually exist outside of sea shanties. Bump along a tidal gritty track, past leaning marsh bound boats & just when you think you’re at the end of the earth, there’s the Old Point House, 16th century pub gaining a sci-fi weirdness from distant views of the oil refinery across the bay. Don’t let that put you off; its breath taking and there is no else in the world quite like it”
